There is a problem with the church today – and it is the church.

Posted on July 2, 2009 by Shovas

There is a solution for the church today – and it is the church.

Some time ago I wrote Upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it in which I said there was a problem with the church and that the church was it.

That’s only half the story, because there is a solution and that solution is the church itself.

The sum of the parts is sometimes greater than the whole and that is true of human beings in any scenario. As a group we can accomplish far more than if we tried alone.

That’s why the church is the solution to its own problem and I wouldn’t want anybody thinking I was anti-church…simply anti-problem. ;)
