Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:37-40
Preach the Gospel and Make Disciples
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
Mercy Triumphs over Judgment
Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment. James 2:12-13

What’s this all about?
Your view of Christianity might be heavily influenced by the Ten Commandments and the Law from the Old Testament (Old Covenant), as I realized mine was, you know, dos and don’ts, rights and wrongs…
But, really, Christ-ianity is about Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God, who gave His life willingly to free you from a system of rules that was never intended to and could not save you in your sin.
What He accomplished gave you a new way, a simpler way, a new covenant in His shed blood.
The Old Covenant is the Old Covenant
These are the principles of your new covenant: Love God and Neighbour, Preach the Gospel and Make Disciples, and Mercy Triumphs over Judgment.
