Games
- Good Old Games (GOG) – New and classic video games, without the DRM, with offline downloads as your own copy to keep and run forever, no internet connection required. Prefer GOG, fallback to Steam. Bonus: GOG introduced officially curated mods, easily installable from the GOG.com website or GOG client just like any other game.
- MS-DOS Software Library at the Internet Archive – “Software for MS-DOS machines that represent entertainment and games. The collection includes action, strategy, adventure and other unique genres of game and entertainment software. Through the use of the EM-DOSBOX in-browser emulator, these programs are bootable and playable.”
- Classic PC Games at the Internet Archive – “Take a step back in time and revisit your favorite DOS and Windows games… Where possible online play is enabled to enjoy the game directly in your browser. New files are added to this collection on a regular basis.”
- Internet Arcade at the Internet Archive – “The Internet Arcade is a web-based library of arcade (coin-operated) video games from the 1970s through to the 1990s, emulated in JSMAME, part of the JSMESS software package.”
