Labels for “indigenous” or “first nations” are misleading and lie about history

This is why all the labels we have for “indigenous” or “first nations” are misleading, at best, and manipulate actual history: Aboriginal, native, autochthonous, endemic, original, etc. All poor choices. Better: Earlier Nations, Previous Peoples, etc. Go ahead. Fact check it.
