Gulf of Mexico oil slick said to be five times bigger than previously thought

Posted on April 30, 2010April 29, 2010 by Shovas

Check out this article on the recent sinking of an oil rig and subsequent spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Apparently, this is far bigger than any ocean spill ever.

This bugs me. It appears they can’t even do much about it.

I really think there should be something that makes these failures prohibitively expensive.
