Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Posted on May 17, 2009December 22, 2022 by Shovas

Seek ye first the kingdom of God
And His righteousness,
And all these things shall be added unto you,
Allelu, alleluia.

Man shall not live by bread alone,
But by every word
That proceeds from the mouth of God,
Allelu, alleluia.

Ask, and it shall be given unto you.
Seek, and ye shall find.
Knock, and the door shall be opened unto you.
Allelu, alleluia.

Seek ye first the kingdom of God
And His righteousness,
And all these things shall be added unto you,
Allelu, alleluia.

Update 2010-12-24: It appears the translation, used in the title, is in question. Apparently, most new translations say something like “good will toward those with whom He is pleased.”
