Firefox the last major browser to continue supporting ad blocking, a practically required feature for privacy and protection on the modern web. I’ve never stopped using Firefox for very long since the mid 2000s and now I feel justified.

Turns out, the most popular ad blocker, uBlock Origin, is an officially recommended and safety reviewed extension by the Firefox developers

As of now, the Brave browser is also resisting the Google and Microsoft change to kill ad blocking. The Brave team runs their own search engine, too (my primary search), with its own independent search index (not just a front end for Google or Bing). I can recommend Brave.
