Allie says:ok, the song is cute. BUT!!!!!! The key is wrong wrong wrong. I’m a music educator as well as a voice teacher. If you going to write for kids, key it so that the notes are no lower than the A below middle C and no higher than Treble C. The song is written with chords for C, but all the notes are below the staff. Also, your recording is lame and in E-flat. Key this song up to G. At least it’s singable.

Bethany says:Don’t forget the second verse, based on the fact that missionaries have to eat what’s culturally acceptable where they are, and it’d hurt their testimony to refuse food. This verse is great to sing with kids!
Be a missionary every day
Eat whatever food comes your way
Be it ants in your cornchips
Or roaches in your pop
You can’t turn your nose up
Just eat it till you drop so
Be a missionary every day
If it wiggled eat it anyway
It may be green and fuzzy
Or maybe it still moves but
Be a missionary
God’s own emissary
Be a missionary today
Let’s eat!
