Was looking for this song. In the early 80’s I taught this song to my kids when I taught kindergarten in a Christian School. It goes with day one of our Bible School Program on Obedience. thanks. rj

Hi Rita, I’m glad it helped improve your lesson! I actually attended a Christian school kindergarten in the early 80’s and I never forgot a couple of the songs I learned there.

Have known this song a long time, but recently in two different locations, the
ministers referred to this song or on the subject of “Obedience” I used this
song years ago with children’s choirs. It’s great for all ages. The message is
so RIGHT.

Thank you so much for the Obedience song. I use to sing it to my children but as they got older I didn’t sing it as often and had forgotten it. I want to teach this to my grandchildren!

Thanks for sharing this song. It was suggested to sing in my children’s church lesson for the Wiseman and the Foolish man. I have never heard this song before. It seems strange though that I have not since I have sung School songs forever.

I am writing a VBS curriculum on the life of Elijah and one of the themes is obedience. I would love to include this song in the music guide for the curriculum. Hi Amanda, I didn’t write any of these songs. It may be by Ron & Shelly Hamilton as was mentioned elsewhere on the web, but I don’t have any confirmation of this. I think you would be fine to reproduce this because it’s not really claimed by anyone when I search for it. Links to this site are always appreciated.
